The California Cancer Foundation's mission is for the advancement, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer and allied diseases.
CCF Foundation
The California Cancer Foundation was founded in 1978 under the California Nonprofit Corporation Law of the State of California and section 501 (c)(3) of the IRS Tax Code, Tax ID 95-3349992 exclusively for charitable, scientific and educational purposes. Through its grants it has provided support for more than 80 cancer conferences and the computerization of tumor registries at the Good Samaritan Hospital and the City of Hope, provided computers for medical libraries, photopheresis equipment for the treatment of leukemias and lymphomas, and cancer diagnostic equipment including spiral computerized tomography and endoscopic ultrasound.
CCF Founder
Dr. Bonorris is founder of the California Cancer Foundation, the Southern California Academy of Clinical Oncology, and the Cancer Program At Good Samaritan Hospital Los Angeles; and is Clinical Professor Emeritus at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine.
